Crochet Panda Girl Doll- Pattern

  It's been a little while since I last posted. It's been quite a stressful time for me the past few months and I've been trying to figure out what I want to do.
  I've been working on a few different crochet and sewing projects. I made a pair of crochet slippers, but I always fail at slippers. I've tried several patterns for crochet slippers and every one of them has left me in discomfort, and now I've got a corner with unwanted slippers. I sincerely love the way crochet slippers look, but they pinch my feet :(. I keep thinking my feet must be extra sensitive, but I've stepped on a tack before without even feeling it, so???
  Anyway, I have a few patterns that I've finished and am currently working on a few different crochet as well as fabric owls patterns. But for today I wanted to post the pattern for my cute crochet panda girl doll, so here it is;

I used a 3.75mm hook

Head/body

Magic ring(6 St)

2 single crochet(Increase) into each st(12 st)

2 single crochet(Increase) into each st(24 st)

Single crochet in the next 3 st, 2 single crochet in the next(Inc), single crochet in the next 3 st, inc in the next, continue this for the row

Single crochet in the next 4 st, 2 single crochet in the next, single crochet in the next 4 st, inc in the next, continue for the row

Single crochet in the next 5 st, 2 single crochet in the next, single crochet in the next 5 st, inc in the next, continue for the row

Single crochet for 10 rows

Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, single crochet 2 together(decrease), single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, continue like this for the row

Fasten Safety eyes

Single crochet in the next stitch, decrease, single crochet in the next stitch, decrease, continue like this for the row

Decrease row

Start stuffing

Single crochet the row

switch colors(black)

Single crochet for 2 rows

Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, increase, single crochet in the next 2 stitches, increase, continue like this for the row

Single crochet row

Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, increase, single crochet in the next 2 stitches, increase, continue like this for the row

Switch colors(white)

Single crochet for 5 rows

Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, continue like this for the row

Decrease row

Decrease another 2 times, slip stitch into the next stitch, sew closed, weave in tail

Legs

(start with black yarn)Ch 5, single crochet in the second chain from the hook and in the next 2 stitches, single crochet 3 times in the first chain

Now working on the other side of the chain, single crochet in the next 3 stitches, single crochet 2 times in the next stitch

Place a stitch marker to mark the beginning next round

Single crochet in each stitch

Single crochet in the next 3 stitches, decrease, decrease, single crochet in the next 4 stitches

Single crochet in the next 3 stitches, decrease, single crochet in the next 4 stitches,

Single crochet for 3 rows

Single crochet in the next 3 stitches, decrease, single crochet in the next 3 stitches

Single crochet for 2 rows

Single crochet for 4 rows

Make 2, sew onto body

Arms

Magic ring(6st)

Single crochet for 3 rows

Switch colors

Single crochet for 9 rows

Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, single crochet in the next 2 stitches, slip stitch in the next stitch

Make 2, sew onto body

Cheeks

Magic ring(6st), slip stitch in the next stitch

make 2, sew onto cheeks

Shorts (Optional, white yarn)

Ch 18, single crochet in the first chain to join, single crochet in the next 17 stitches

Place stitch marker

Single crochet for 3 rows

Single crochet to the opposite side of the shorts(creating the first leg, 9st per leg)

Single crochet for 2 rows

Join yarn to begin other leg, Single crochet around for 2 rows(make sure that there are the same amount of stitches for each leg)

Collar (black yarn)

Ch 15

Single crochet in the second chain from the hook and in every other stitch

Sew collar onto neck(to cover up color change)

Hat(4.25mm hook)

Ch 4, slip stitch in the first chain to create a ring

Ch 3(counts as first double crochet) double crochet 11 times in the center of the ring, slip stitch into the top of the ch 3 to join

Ch 3, double crochet in the same stitch, double crochet 2 times(increase) into every stitch for the row, slip stitch into the top of the ch 3 to join

Ch 3, double crochet in the next stitch, increase in the next, double crochet in the next stitch, increase, continue like this for the row

Ch 3. double crochet for the row, slip stitch into the top of the ch 3 to join

repeat 3 more times

Single crochet for 2 rows

Ears

Magic ring(6st)

2 single crochet in each st(12st)

Single crochet for 4 rows

Make 2, sew onto hat

 

Hair

I slipped stitched hair around the edge of the hat and sewed the hat on the head.

 I really like how my panda girl turned out :)
