Crochet Amigurumi Monster Number 7

Crochet Amigurumi Monster
    Here it is, the last of the crochet monsters for monster week! I meant to write this post this morning, but with errands and Kai back from school I completely forgot about it until now. I finished monster number 7 late last night and just started working on a scarf/cowl and a pattern for a cowl/short poncho.
   Anyway, here is the pattern for crochet monster number 7;


I used a 4.25mm hook

Head
Round 1-   Magic ring(6st)

Round 2-   2 single crochet in each stitch for the row(12st)

Round 3-   2 single crochet in each stitch for the row(24st)
Round 4-   Single crochet in the next 3 stitches, 2 single crochet in the next(increase), single crochet in the next 3 stitches, increase in the next, continue like this for the row

Round 5-   Single crochet in the next 4 stitches, 2 single crochet in the next(increase), single crochet in the next 4 stitches, increase in the next, continue like this for the row
Round 6-13-   Single crochet for 8 rows
Round 14-   Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, single crochet 2 together(decrease), single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, continue like this for the row
Round 15-   Single crochet 2 together for the row(decrease row), leave for now
 
Eye
Magic ring(6st)

2 single crochet in each st(12)
You can make one or two of these, and put the safety eyes through them, I decided to do one. Sew onto head, add safety eyes

Slip stitch embroider mouth
Back to head/body
Start stuffing gradually

Round 16-   Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, continue like this for the row
Round 17-   Single crochet row

Round 18-   Single crochet in the next stitch, increase in next, single crochet in next stitch, increase, continue like this for the row
Round 19-22-   Single crochet for 4 rows

Round 23-   Single crochet in the back loops for the row

Round 24-   Decrease row, slip stitch in the next stitch, cut off yarn, sew closed and sew in tail
Legs
Round 1-   Magic ring(6st)

Round 2-   2 single crochet in each st(12st)

Round 3-   Single crochet in the back loops for the row

Round 4-5-   Single crochet for 2 rows

Round 6-   Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, continue like this for the row

Round 7-10-   Single crochet for 4 rows

Round 11-   Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, continue like this for the row

Round 12-   Slip stitch into the next stitch

Make 2, sew into body
Arms
Magic ring(6st)

Single crochet for 6 rows

Make 2, sew onto body, and you're done!!

( I used white yarn and sew lines on the feet to make it looks like nails)
