Little Crochet Hulk- Pattern

Working from my last post, here is the pattern for my little crochet Hulk :). I wasn't sure whether I should write the pattern over again because it's basically the same one I put in the last post except using green yarn, but I figured might as well.

I used a 3.75mm hook and Bernat yarn in "Lush"
I think the purple yarn for the shorts/pants was Bernat as well, not sure on the exact color name though. I used whatever black yarn I could find for the hair, I think it was loops & Threads yarn

Head & Body
Round 1-   Magic ring (6 st)

Round 2-   2 Single crochet in each st(12st)
Round 3-   2 Single crochet in each st(12st)
Round 4-   Single crochet in the next 3 stitches, 2 single crochet in the next(increase), single crochet in the next 3 stitches, increase, continue like this for the row
Round 5-   Single crochet in the next 4 stitches, increase, single crochet in the next 4 stitches, increase, continue like this for the row

Round 6-   Single crochet in the next 5 stitches, increase, single crochet in the next 5 stitches, increase, continue like this for the row
Round 7-8-   Single crochet in back loops for 2 rows
Round 9-16-   Single crochet for 8 rows
Round 17-   Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, single crochet 2 together(decrease), single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease, continue like this for the row

Secure in eyes(12mm pure black safety eyes, aprox. 4.5cm apart)
Round 18-   Single crochet in the next stitch, decrease, single crochet in the next stitch, decrease, continue like this for the row
Round 19-   Row of decreases, stuff
Round 20-   Single crochet row(start of body)

Round 21-   Single crochet in the next stitch, increase in the next, single crochet in the next stitch, increase in the next, continue like this for the row

Round 22-23-   Single crochet for 2 rows
Round 24-   Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, increase in the next, single crochet in the next 2 stitches, increase in the next, continue like this for the row

Round 25-29-   Single crochet in the next 5 rows

Round 30-   Single crochet in the next 3 stitches, single crochet 2 together(decrease), single crochet in the next 3 stitches, decrease, continue like this for the row
Use a different color piece of yarn to mark the middle of the body(through the front and back)
Single crochet to the middle(if needed) then single crochet the front and back of the body together, this will be the beginning of the first leg
Note: The most important part to remember when making the legs is to start both legs with the same amount of stitches(mine were 8 st each)

Round 31-33-   Single crochet for 3 rows(use a stitch marker if needed)
Round 34-   Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, increase, single crochet in the next 2 stitches, increase, continue like this for the row

Round 35-   Single crochet row

Round 36-   Decrease row
Slip stitch into the next stitch, sew closed. Do same for second leg. If there is a space between both legs, sew closed.
Hulk Pants/Shorts
Ch 20

Round 1-   Single crochet into the first chain(make sure not to twist, place marker if needed), and single crochet into every other stitch for the row

Round 2-   Single crochet for 4 more rows

The next round is the start of the first pant leg, fold in half, use a different color yarn to mark the center to separate the legs
Single crochet in the next stitch through the corresponding stitch at the back of the pants

Round 3- Single crochet 2 rows around the one pant leg
Join yarn on other side of the marker to start the second pant leg, single crochet for 2 rows, sew in any tails

Arms
Slip stitch onto body where you want the first arm, single crochet in a circle, 8 st for both arms
Single crochet around for 4 rows, lightly stuff the arm

Fasten off by whip stitching in all front loops and pull to tighten, weave in ends
Do the same for the other arm
Hair
Cut about 40 strands of yarn, aproximately 12cm long(you can trim them later)

Secure yarn onto head; fold piece in half, incert hook through the center of the head and out one of the nearest stitches(switch to a smaller hook to make it easier, I used a 3.25mm hook), grab the yarn and pull through, there should be a little black loop pulled though the center of the head and two little tails on the other side of the stitch. Use your hook or hands to pull the tails through the loop(kind of like a slip stitch), pull to tighten, this secures the hair. Keep doing this for each strand. I like to go around one round, then move to the next round etc... But you can do it however you like :)

Now you've got you're own little crochet Hulk! :)
