Crochet mini food pendants!

  Today was another snow day here in Charlottetown! Two in a row, doesn't happen often! I decided to crochet some more mini food pendants today since I loved making the apple pendant.

  I decided on four mini foods to make; pear, strawberry, cupcake and ice cream cone. The patterns I created for these are bellow!

I used a 3.25mm hook for all the pendants, and they're all made with craft thread(the same stuff I used for bracelets as a kid)

Note: If you're not used to crocheting in the round a stitch marker is very helpful to keep track of where the rounds begin/end!

Pear pendant
Round 1-   Magic ring(6st)

Round 2-   2 single crochet in each st(12st)

Round 3-5 -  Single crochet for 3 rows

Round 6-   Single crochet in next st, single crochet 2 together in the next, single crochet in the next, continue like this for the row

Round 6 & 8-   Single crochet for 2 rows

Round 9-   Single crochet in the next 2 st, decrease in the next, single crochet in the next 2 st, decrease in the next

Make sure the pear is lightly stuffed

Slip stitch in the next stitch, sew closed

 Leaf
Ch 5,

Slip stitch in the second chain from the hook

Single crochet in the next st, half double crochet in the next, 3 double crochet in the last,

Continue onto the other side of the leaf with; Half double crochet in the next stitch, single crochet in the next, slip stitch in the next

Run the yarn through the 5^th chain of the original ch 5, and through the back of the leaf to the end

Make 2, sew onto pear

Attach split ring, and your pendant is complete!

Strawberry

Round 1-   Magic ring(6st)

Round 2-   2 single crochet in each st(12st)

Round 3-6-   Single crochet for 4 rows

Round 7-   Single crochet in the next st, single crochet 2 together in the next(decrease), single crochet in the next, decrease in the next, continue for row.

Round 8-   Single crochet in the next st, single crochet 2 together in the next(decrease), single crochet in the next, decrease in the next, continue for row.

Make sure the strawberry is stuffed to your liking

Slip stitch into next stitch and sew in the tail

Stem

Magic ring(6st, we'll call the first 6 stitches the foundation stitches to make things clearer)

Single crochet into the next stitch-ch 3->single crochet in the second chain and first(of the chain 3), slip stitch into the same foundation stitch.

 

Single crochet in the next foundation stitch, chain 3, single crochet in the second and first chains(of the chain 3)-slip stitch into the same foundation stitch, single crochet in the next, continue like this for the row.

Slip stitch into first foundation chain, sew piece onto strawberry

 

Attach the slip ring, and your strawberry pendant is done!

Cupcake

Round 1-   Magic ring(6st)

Round 2-   2 single crochet in each st(12st)

Round 3-6-   Single crochet for 4 rows, switch colors,

Round 7-   Single crochet in the back loops of each stitch(front loops will be used later) 

Round 8 & 9-   Single crochet for 2 rows

 

Round 10-   Single crochet in the back loops

Round 11-   Single crochet 2 together(decrease row)

Sew shut

 Join pink thread into one of the front posts of round 7

Put one single crochet and one double crochet in each of the front posts. Slip stitch into first single crochet and sew in tail

I then sewed on a cherry, by sewing in the same spot over and over to create a little red bump

Now attach a split ring and your pendant is done!

Ice cream cone

Round 1-   Magic ring(6st)

Round 2-   2 single crochet in each stitch(12st)

Round 3-6-   Single crochet for 4 rows, switch colors,

Round 7-   Single crochet in the back loops of each stitch(the front loops will be used later)

Round 8-   Single crochet for the row

Round 9-   Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, single crochet 2 together(decrease), single crochet in the next stitches, continue like this for the row.

Round 10-   Single crochet for row

Round 11-   Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, single crochet 2 together(decrease), single crochet in the next stitches, continue like this for the row.

Round 12-   Single crochet row

Round 13-   Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, single crochet 2 together(decrease), single crochet in the next stitches, slip stitch in the next and sew closed and sew in the tail.

Join pink thread into one of the front posts of round 7-> Put one single crochet and one double crochet in each of the front posts. Slip stitch into first single crochet and sew in tail

Fudge

Magic ring(6st)

In the first stitch; single crochet-half double crochet-single crochet

In the second stitch; single crochet-ch1-double crochet-ch1-single crochet

In the third stitch; single crochet-half double crochet-single crochet

In the fourth stitch; single crochet-ch1-double crochet-ch1-single crochet

Continue like this for the 5^th and 6^th stitches

Sew piece onto ice cream :3

Now attach a split ring and your pendant is done!
